18:15 - 18:30

Welcome speech

18:30 - 20:00

Reception, icebreaker discussion #1: Is it getting to the point when it really hurts? Cybersecurity aspects of Industry 4.0.

With the rise of Industry 4.0, factories are increasingly under cyber attacks and domestic factories are no exceptions from these. At the same time, the development of defence against cyber attacks is still in its infancy. But will NIS2 be a big enough boost for domestic industries to start investing? These and similar or even different questions will be discussed by Petra Hetényi (Com-Forth Ltd., OT Security Business Development Manager) and Tamás "Sharky" Kocsis (Cyber Security Expert, Alverad Ltd.).

18:30 - 20:00

Reception, icebreaker discussion #2: What can we use AI for in manufacturing? Sharing real-life experiences.

18:30 - 20:00

Reception, icebreaker discussion #3: sustainability in manufacturing.

A single swallow does not make a summer: sustainability efforts through collective strength. Committing to making a factory's operations more sustainable cannot be a one-person task. But how can we ensure that other decision-makers also embrace and support green solutions? Let's think together about how we can involve top executives, engineers, and financial experts, and what steps we can take to achieve a shared commitment to sustainability!

3DEXPERIENCE - The power of a unified software platform in the development process

István Nadj, CEO, CAD-Terv Mérnöki Kft.

Technical people strive for perfection. We like using special software solutions for a few steps of the development process, driving our managers and system administrators crazy. At the same time, we want simplicity and to have the latest data available at all times. We don't want the creative work to be taken up by compiling management reports, providing data to the marketing department or summarizing meetings.
How would it be possible?
Honestly, there are no miracles. But innovative thinking is in everyone, so let's use it! With the right tools and with the right goals, we will be able to go above and beyond and achieve full virtual validation of the tool we develop. Last but not least, we will then have time for creative work and family.

Local sustainability at GRUNDFOS

Szilvia Gärtner, Senior Environmental Engineer, GRUNDFOS

How can we be sustainable where we produce and where we emit?
The Danish pumping station started its operations at a time when all of Europe was still suffering from the damage of war. Creativity and perseverance paid off. Today Grundfos is at the forefront of pump manufacturing. Its products can bring clean drinking water to hundreds of people in areas where there was no hope before.
The durability and timelessness of the product is truly unique in today's 'break and replace' world.
Since it works mostly with water, it's one of the pillars of its sustainability strategy. Its goals include reducing the amount of drinking water used in manufacturing by 50%, harnessing rainwater and creating a water cycle. By 2030, it aims to provide clean drinking water for 300 million people in poorer regions of the developing world.
It also places a strong emphasis on climate change-related activities such as reducing energy use and air pollutant emissions.
These are all very fine goals, but what happens on the small scale at the Székesfehérvár plant? What can we do to translate these grandiose goals into everyday life?

We are working on the innovation of the Hungarian industry and increasing the efficiency of our customers.

Com-Forth Kft. is a 100% Hungarian-owned family business. With our innovative industrial IT solutions we have already helped hundreds of manufacturing companies and other businesses to make their production and communication between their machines and equipment more efficient over the past 35 years. We have done all this with hardware and software used for industrial purposes and by applying unique
automation solutions with the support of well-known manufacturers, such as Moxa, Opto22, GE Digital and Microsoft.

Our clients are key players in the energy, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, oil and gas industries, as well as system integrators engaged in automation, IT and security technology.

We believe in the importance of knowledge sharing: our annual Smart Factory ConnAction Conference and our Industrial IoT Professional Days held several times a year are now considered among the most popular and most important events in the industry by representatives of the profession.

Industry 4.0 is a rather complex field. Most companies are cautious about how to get involved, how to get started and which improvements to begin with. Our experienced engineering colleagues are happy to help you take the first steps.
