At the Smart Factory ConnAction conference, you can familiarize yourself first-hand with domestic manufacturing companies that are already at the forefront of the introduction and application of IT, human resources, and management tasks and processes related to Industry 4.0, and they can’t wait to share their experiences with you.

This year, we are also trying to provide inspiration for the introduction of Industry 4.0, and we will also speak frankly and openly about the difficulties and pitfalls.
With our Com-Forth Team we welcome all returning guests and new interested parties for the 9th time at one of the most defining professional events of Industry 4.0.
You can get a first-hand insight into Industry 4.0 solutions applied in practice from keyplayers in various industries. Presentations showcasing real experiences, round table discussions on exciting topics, and interactive workshops await you on site, and you can gain new experiences up close during factory visits.
We provide a unique opportunity for networking. You can get acquainted with notable speakers and a wide range of almost 200 professionals active in the industry. You can share your experiences and be inspired by each other’s stories. Among our exhibitors, you can meet numerous potential partners who can support your work and goals with added value. During the visit, guests can follow the products journey in the plant after getting an overview of the company. They will be able to gain insight into the manufacturing activities of the Trauma plant, from the receipt of raw materials, through the machining processes, to packaging and sterilisation. In the orthopaedic and instrumentation unit, participants will learn about the production of hip and knee implants, the grinding robot cell, the prototyping and instrumentation area, and the production of spinal implants. At the end of the visit, visitors will gain an insight into the finished goods warehousing processes, where products are delivered daily to Hungarian hospitals.

During the visit, visitors will be able to see automated manufacturing implemented by collaborative and industrial robots, an artificial intelligence-based quality control image processing system for SMT manufacturing, examples of the benefits of 3D printing and a range of digital solutions for optimising manufacturing processes.

What does the future hold and what is the reality of manufacturing today? Let's explore together the possibilities of AI in our own factories. During the workshop, participants will be guided through the different AI possibilities, from classic scrap detection and factory data management problems to PLC programs and humanoid helpers, using a digitalisation questionnaire sent to all attendees.

During the TwinCAT 3 Analytics workshop, participants will gain a detailed insight into the use of TwinCAT 3 Analytics functions in industrial automation. The workshop will explore the role of analytics in optimising the performance of industrial systems, predictive maintenance, energy efficiency and the analysis and evaluation of production data.
The workshop will show how TwinCAT 3 Analytics can be used to continuously optimise manufacturing processes, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and monitor system performance through trend analysis. Participants will learn how to use analytics tools through practical applications and understand how they can contribute to more efficient and predictive industrial automation.

With the rise of Industry 4.0, factories are increasingly under cyber attacks and domestic factories are no exceptions from these. At the same time, the development of defence against cyber attacks is still in its infancy. But will NIS2 be a big enough boost for domestic industries to start investing? How can we be sustainable where we produce and where we emit?
The Danish pumping station started its operations at a time when all of Europe was still suffering from the damage of war. Creativity and perseverance paid off. Today Grundfos is at the forefront of pump manufacturing. Its products can bring clean drinking water to hundreds of people in areas where there was no hope before.
The durability and timelessness of the product is truly unique in today's 'break and replace' world.
Since it works mostly with water, it's one of the pillars of its sustainability strategy. Its goals include reducing the amount of drinking water used in manufacturing by 50%, harnessing rainwater and creating a water cycle. By 2030, it aims to provide clean drinking water for 300 million people in poorer regions of the developing world.
It also places a strong emphasis on climate change-related activities such as reducing energy use and air pollutant emissions.
These are all very fine goals, but what happens on the small scale at the Székesfehérvár plant? What can we do to translate these grandiose goals into everyday life?
